MOTOR TRUCK CARGO INSURANCE IN WASHINGTON THAT DELIVERS

These days, one of the most important things you can do for your business is to stretch every dollar further. That’s where this particular kind of truck insurance comes in. Motor truck cargo insurance means that you and your client share the responsibility of delivering the goods. Even the best, most conscientious and safe truck drivers have had that one trip where everything didn’t go accordingly to plan. Maybe the cargo didn’t make it there in one piece, or maybe something else unforeseen happened. If something like that happens, this insurance can step in. It covers the cargo inside the truck so that you aren’t liable for all of it. It even covers the kinds of damages you may be unaware of. Did you know that an accident can kick up a lot of pollution that can damage your cargo and worse? Should something like that happen, this cargo covers the expenses related to those damages as well as any resultant legal fees. The insurance covers the unforeseen, so that you can focus on the road ahead.

If you have any questions about this whatsoever, send them to us. We want to make sure that you aren’t overinsured or underinsured, as both are bad for you and your business. Cargo Types

The types of cargo that our motor truck cargo insurance covers are multiple and varied. Bear in mind though: some cargo isn’t covered. As with most things, you want to use common sense here. Our insurance won’t cover cash, pharmaceuticals, live animals, booze, explosives, radioactive materials, property that’s under custody, art, shipping containers or tobacco. It also won’t cover what’s called “property owner by the insured,” namely you. So, it won’t cover the stuff that’s yours (as that technically isn’t cargo).

Truck Types

If you’ve ever spent a moment on the road, you’ve seen so many different kinds of trucks that carry cargo. While we cover most of them, we don’t carry insurance for all them. Our insurance covers a wide range, but we don’t cover buses, hearses, garbage trucks, limousines, ice cream trucks, vans or passenger vans. That being said, we’re always willing to talk to prospective clients to see if there’s something we can work out. Feel like we should be able to cover your vehicle? Give us a call. Maybe we can figure out a way to make the insurance work.

Of course, we do cover many different kinds of trucks that carry cargo. Many of our prospective clients are surprised by how much many different kinds of trucks our insurance covers. For example, we cover dually pickups, cargo vans, cement mixers, flatbeds, dump trucks, tractors, box trucks and car haulers. We even cover a majority of trailers. The last thing we want is for you to buy insurance and then find that it doesn’t meet your needs. So, be sure to contact us so that you don’t pay for insurance that doesn’t cover you, or covers you too much. It’s our job to make sure you buy just the right amount of insurance.
