Types of Trucks We Insure

At any level of the trucking business in Washington, basic trucking insurance is necessary. That goes for if you’re an independent contractor, motor carrier or anyone else. Should you have done even the tiniest bit of research, you’d discuss that there are different kinds of Motor Cargo, Private Carrier and Owner Operators options. Those can come in handy, but that doesn’t give you a clue as to what the trucks those drivers are behind the wheel of. Below, you’ll find some trucks we insure as well as a few we don’t. That doesn’t mean these are the only kinds of trucks we insure. If you want to know more about what we ensure, or don’t see yours below but want us to insure it, give us a call. We’d love to sit down with you and figure it out.

Tractors

Some people don’t realize how massive tractors can be on the road. They’re like moving mountains. Driving a tractor takes a certain skill level, because even the biggest highways weren’t built for something like this. By that same token, you typically aren’t driving them on just the biggest highways, either. So, to make this difficult task easier on you, we made a specific kind of coverage for tractors. You can get “Trailer Interchange” as well as “Liability” through our Washington trucking insurance company to help you with the road ahead.

Pickup Trucks

When you think of your pickup truck, you think of a vehicle that’s going to be there for you. Reliable and dependable, it takes you where you want to go when you want to get there. Just as you depend on them, you can depend on our insurance to protect you, too. Do you carry goods in your pickup truck? Then “Motor Truck Cargo” might be the best way to go. By that same token, we also offer Liability, Physical Damage, Underinsured/Uninsured Motorist and more. Bear in mind, we insure all kinds of pickup trucks, too. From standard-bed to heavy-duty and every other truck, pickup trucks are our specialty.

Tow Trucks

A tow truck is expensive. However, often what a tow truck tows is even more expensive than the tow truck itself. When something goes wrong, you don’t want to have to pay for someone else’s vehicle. To that end, we offer many different kinds of tow truck insurance to cover you no matter what the road throws at you. That means the standard options of Liability, Physical Damage, Uninsured/Underinsured and Medical Payments. By that same token, it also means we offer the tow truck specific Garagekeepers Legal Liability and On-Hook insurance.

Box Trucks

Box trucks tend to take light cargo where it needs to go over city or even local streets. These kinds of vehicles have many different kinds of insurance available, based on the situation and the business. For example, private carriers use our Physical Damage and Liability coverage, while for-hire truckers tend to go for our Non-Trucking Liability and Cargo coverage.

Dump Trucks

Dump trucks hold a lot and they do a lot. All that wear and tear can get to even something as powerful and sturdy as a tow truck. Most dump trucks are different from one another, as our clients have shown us. Some have dump trucks that are built for carrying some items, and some dump trucks for others. To match that, we offer structured, customized plans that can be tailored to your dump truck. By that same token, our “Dump Truck Coverage” handles most concerns. Additionally, we offer Motor Carrier insurance for motor carriers who want some more coverage.

Read through the list above and didn’t see your truck? Don’t fret; we probably still do cover it. Additionally, we take pride in covering: agricultural trucks, bucket trucks, ice cream trucks, delivery vans, cement mixers, catering trucks, garbage trucks, tank trucks, street sweepers, refrigerated trucks and more. We probably could’ve used less space if we just wrote out all the trucks we don’t cover. If you wonder if we can cover your truck, we recommend contacting us. We always take pride in working something like this out.

THE COST OF TRUCK INSURANCE

Just as every truck insurance plan is different, so too is every truck insurance price. We factor everything we can into the price of your insurance, so that we can offer you the best deal possible for your situation. To make the process easier, we recommend going over:

  • The type of truck you have
  • What cargo it hauls
  • Every license you have
  • All of the businesses that you’re involved in right now
  • Anything additional that you feel would be relevant to trucking.

We appreciate you going over that. Once you bring it to us, we’ll crunch the numbers, determine your risks, and hammer out a deal. Through the careful consideration of that knowledge, we can give you the right insurance plan for your situation.
